VENUE ADDRESS: 286 SANFORD AVE NORTH
It's the Westinghouse Building and you can find it in GPS as "Westinghouse HQ"
PARKING: you can park in any spot in the parking lot (yes, even the ones that say reserved for a business/person).
there's also parking on Westinghouse Ave, Myler Street, and Barton Street.
EVENT ENTRANCE: The entrance is on the east side of the building, the event doors are technically on Westinghouse Ave at Myler Street.
There will be directional signage, but basically you're going to the SIDE of the building, the side away from the park and towards the neighbouring parking lot.
ACCESSIBILITY: There is an accessible entrance, however it is in a different location. You can either let us know at the main entrance that you need assistance OR call/ text the following number and ask them to meet you at the accessible entrance 416-919-5702
EVENT HOURS: The event starts at 8pm and will wrap around 1:30am. There are a few areas that will be better to get to earlier in the night, such as the crafting zone and costume house pop-up as these zones will probably wind down around 11/12/ There's also something special happening between 8pm-11pm so if you're able to get here before 11- we'd recommend it! The night is flexible though so please come whenever feels right for you!
FOOD: You can help yourself to any of the Pinch goodies! there are vegan and gluten free options. There is a chance we may have some late-night food options, but to be determined. We would recommend eating dinner before coming but saving lots of room for dessert!
BAR: The bar will have cash or card options. Please be patient with bar staff as they work hard to get you all served. There will be a mix of beer, wine, cocktails and some extra-special signature drinks! You can also order your usual mixed drink. For the non-drinkers, there will be some fun non-alc cocktails, non-alc beer, and then the usual sodas/juices. We are running the bar ourselves and hope you love the menu we put together!
THE SPACE: There are two main spaces; the ballroom and the bar/activity area. Feel free to move between them however you please!
WHAT TO WEAR: Whatever makes you feel special! Whether you go themed or not, you're going to look great and we are just so excited you're spending your saturday with us.
SAFETY: We are committed to hosting a safe, fun and inclusive event for everyone. If at any point you feel something is off, please know you can come to any of the party stuff and express your concerns. At all times you can find someone at the front entrance, at the bar, and myself and my event assistant Hollis, floating between the spaces.

Your presence is requested for a night of merriment in celebration of GOTW’s 11 year anniversary on May 11th! Dress in your finery (or whatever makes you feel your best) and be transported to a magical castle ball room where you can dance the night away, snack on delicious sweets, and enjoy some beautiful moments.

Everyone welcome (however this is a 19+ event)!
The Venue: We will be creating a dreamy world inspired by medieval vibes, Renaissance beauty, and all the whimsy of a fairy-tale in the ballroom and event space at Sanford Hall, located in the Westinghouse building- a beautiful historic space built in 1917.
The Music: Dance the night away alongside the best lady djs: DJ Donna Lovejoy, DJ Amy (A Side B Side), and the Pointed Sisters.
The Fun Stuff: There will be magical moments spread throughout the party, including a crown-making workshop, an interactive costume photobooth from Theatrix Costume House, alongside some surprise moments for play and connection!
The Treats: Our friends at Pinch will be baking up the most delectable desserts and sweets for a dessert table fit for a ball! Vegan & GF Options Available. The Bar will have fun and fancy cocktails, goblets of wine, and beer from our friends at Collective Arts! Mocktails and fun Non-alcoholic options will be available as well!
Please note that everyone is welcome, but this is a 19+ event. Tickets are required, and advanced tickets are encouraged. The space is accessible. Some parking is available in Westinghouse parking lot or there is street parking nearby. When you purchase a ticket online, your name will be added to the guest list (plus any extra tickets you purchased). You will receive an email with more info about the event one week before hand- ensure you check your junk folder if you don't see it. we'd also encourage you to follow along for fun updates and sneak peeks via instagram!
Note that ticket includes admission, crown-making workshop, unlimited treats from Pinch, and all activities. The bar will be a cash bar (debit/credit options).
Alongside celebrating GOTW's 11 year anniversary, this is also the launch of Dreamweaver- the event/ creative direction focused new endeavour of GOTW owner Whitney McMeekin. Which means it will be extra beautiful, extra dreamy and extra special :)
